The body of a 21-year-old young man who drowned in the Liakhvi River has been found in Tskhinvali. He was discovered just a few dozen meters from where he fell into the water by officers from the de facto Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
Search efforts in the occupied part of Georgia resumed at 6:00 a.m.
As a reminder, on July 25, Tskhinvali asked Tbilisi for assistance in locating G. Babaev, who was swept away by the Liakhvi River. The young man was floating down the river on an inner tube when he fell into the water near the Solnechny neighborhood.
