Officers of the Adjara Main Directorate of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have detained two foreign nationals. They were wanted internationally under an Interpol Red Notice.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that both detainees were wanted at the request of Turkish law enforcement agencies.
“As a result of investigative measures, police officers detained the wanted individuals at different times in Batumi. Currently, statutory procedures regarding their extradition are underway,” the ministry stated.
