A scuffle broke out between activists and court bailiffs at the Tbilisi City Court. The incident occurred as the hearing of administrative cases against individuals detained on July 26 outside the Tbilisi Sakrebulo (city assembly) was about to begin and attendees were entering the courtroom.
During the altercation, officers of the court bailiff service removed several people from the court building.
Hearings regarding the cases of the activists detained outside the Tbilisi Sakrebulo are currently ongoing at the Tbilisi City Court, where the court is considering the imposition of administrative penalties against them.
