The United National Movement will hold a party congress on August 5 at 15:00. Petre Tsiskarishvili, one of the party’s leaders, announced this following a meeting of the political council.
The political council meeting lasted for about two hours. Tsiskarishvili noted that the party welcomes debate and considers it a normal part of the political process.
Tina Bokuchava, acting chair of the party, was not present at the political council meeting.
