UNM Political Council Meeting Begins Without Tina Bokuchava

A meeting of the Political Council of the United National Movement (UNM) party has begun. The party’s current chair, Tina Bokuchava, is absent from the meeting. During the session, members of the Political Council are expected to discuss issues related to holding the party congress, including setting the date for the event.

In addition, the agenda includes matters regarding the procedure for electing and inviting delegates, as well as other organizational issues.

As a reminder, Tina Bokuchava’s two-year term as party chair, as stipulated by the charter of the United National Movement, expired on July 8, 2026.
