Georgia’s Minister of Regional Development and former head of the SSG (State Security Service), Mamuka Mdinaradze, has once again stated that an agent network is operating in the country, adding that many people involved in it are not even aware of it.
“I am indeed far from thinking that absolutely everyone is an agent and that everyone signed up for something; however, what is happening is the result of agent operations. We have agents in politics, and the followers of these politicians are people who do not even understand why they are doing what they do.”
According to Mdinaradze, people who were not outraged by the occupation of their own country and the deaths of their fellow citizens are now expressing outrage over the occupation of and attack on another country. This, he noted, may indicate that the narrative was artificially created and forms part of a specific assignment. “These people can truly only be pitied for one main reason — in this case, they are carrying out someone else’s will.”
