Statistics Office: Georgia’s GDP Grew by 8% in July

According to preliminary estimates, real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth reached 8% in July 2026 compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

Furthermore, Geostat reported that the average economic growth rate for the first seven months of 2026 stood at 7.9%.

The agency noted that in July 2026, significant contributions to economic growth were made by manufacturing, information and communication, financial and insurance activities, mining, as well as transport and logistics.

At the same time, a downward trend was recorded in the construction sector.
