In Batumi, rescuers have recovered the body of a woman from the sea. According to available reports, search and rescue operations had been underway for several days.
According to the local news outlet Batumelebi, on August 29 at around 11:00 p.m., the woman entered the sea near Batumi’s Old Boulevard and disappeared from sight.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to Tabula, an investigation has been launched under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which covers incitement to suicide.
