In August 2026, month-on-month inflation in Georgia stood at 0.4%, while the annual inflation rate was recorded at 5.6%.

According to Geostat (the National Statistics Office of Georgia), the monthly inflation figure was primarily driven by a 2.2% price increase in the transport group and a 2.5% decline in the clothing and footwear category.
