Georgian Foreign Minister Meets with Serbian MFA State Secretary Damjan Jović

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili held a meeting with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Damjan Jović. He is visiting Tbilisi alongside a delegation to take part in bilateral political consultations.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Serbia. The importance of mutual high-level visits was underscored during the talks.

“The sides also highlighted the importance of deepening sectoral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the trade and economic areas. Special attention was paid to the ongoing negotiations on concluding a free trade agreement.

The parties reaffirmed their firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both states,” the statement said.
