The “Tbilisoba 2026” city festival will take place on October 3 and 4 across five locations in the capital, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at a municipal government meeting. According to him, this year’s festival will be celebrated on a grand scale: alongside Rike Park and Orbeliani Square, visitors will be welcomed at Gudiashvili Square, Leghvtakhevi, Europe Square, and the Metekhi Bridge.
“Visitors to the venues can look forward to a diverse cultural, entertainment, educational, and showcase program. As is tradition, the event areas will feature festive decorations and art installations, photo zones, recreational spaces, and an open-air cinema. Commercial and gastronomic areas will be organized, presenting Georgian and international cuisine, culinary zones and masterclasses, fast-food outlets, tastings, and a fair featuring traditional sweets, honey, and wine, as well as contemporary confectionery,” Kaladze stated.
According to the mayor, the award ceremony honoring the Honorary Citizens of Tbilisi will take place on October 4 at 8:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live.
“Throughout the day, children’s concerts, entertainment, and sporting events will be held across all locations. Both days will conclude with musical evenings and theatrical performances.
