The UN CBD COP17 Green Zone in Yerevan—the public wing of the UN Biodiversity Conference—is welcoming visitors from Georgia. The venue will be open to the public from October 19 to 30, 2026, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
Operating in parallel with the Blue Zone, the Green Zone will offer free admission alongside a programme of international events, exhibitions, public discussions, and cultural performances. Visitors from Georgia are invited to join audiences from Armenia and across the globe as part of a programme that bridges nature, science, and culture.
The event offers an opportunity to take part in an international gathering in neighbouring Armenia and engage with ideas and initiatives from around the globe. The programme will feature cultural showcases and projects from across the region and beyond. Alongside the performances, visitors can explore exhibitions, gain deeper insight into biodiversity conservation, and participate in educational activities and discussions focused on nature protection.
The Green Zone will bring together civil society organisations, scientists, artists, and international participants, creating a public platform to share knowledge and experience. Its events will connect the themes of COP17 to everyday life, engaging people across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Admission to the Green Zone is free.
