The Georgian national para judo team has won the World Championship. The IBSA tournament took place in Tbilisi from September 25 to 27, featuring more than 300 athletes from 44 countries.
In addition to securing gold medals in the individual events, Georgian para-athletes also triumphed in the team competition, officially claiming the world champion title.
With this victory, the Georgian national team added the status of the world’s strongest squad to its reigning European championship title.
