Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, will take on the responsibilities of Vice Prime Minister, head of the cabinet Irakli Kobakhidze announced at a government meeting.
He thanked Kvrivishvili for her fruitful work across multiple areas. According to Kobakhidze, her appointment as Vice Prime Minister will support her “in further, even more successful work and in further strengthening the economic sector.”
Mariam Kvrivishvili was appointed Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development on June 24, 2025, succeeding Levan Davitashvili in this post.
The positions of Vice Prime Minister in the government are also held by Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.
