During a meeting of the Agrarian Issues Committee in the Parliament of Georgia, Committee Chairman Gela Samkharauli announced plans to establish a working group to address granting the status of intangible cultural heritage to “Georgian mountain beer.”
According to the lawmaker, the working group will focus on protecting and developing Georgian brewing traditions.
The commission will prepare relevant recommendations and proposals for the ruling Georgian Dream party.
