A teacher at a private kindergarten in Tbilisi has been detained on charges of physical abuse against a young child.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia stated that as part of the investigation, law enforcement officers seized CCTV footage which, according to investigators, captured the actions of the accused.
“The investigation has established that a teacher at a private kindergarten in Tbilisi used physical violence against a young child.
As part of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement officers have seized CCTV footage confirming the criminal actions of the accused.
As a result of operational and investigative measures, police detained the perpetrator as the accused.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 126 prima, Part 1 of the Criminal Code,” the statement said.
