According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, candidates from the ruling Georgian Dream party have won the by-elections in the majoritarian constituencies of Vani, Dmanisi, Tsalka, and Akhmeta.
Specifically, in the Vani majoritarian constituency, the Georgian Dream candidate secured 87.162% (387 votes), while the representative of the Strong Georgia – Lelo coalition received 12.838% (57 votes).
In the Dmanisi majoritarian constituency, 98.496% of participating voters (131 votes) cast their ballots for the Georgian Dream candidate, compared to 1.504% (2 votes) for the Strong Georgia – Lelo candidate.
In the Tsalka majoritarian constituency, the Georgian Dream candidate garnered the support of 96.737% of voters (415 votes), whereas the candidate from the Strong Georgia – Lelo bloc received 3.263% (14 votes).
As for the Akhmeta majoritarian constituency, only the Georgian Dream candidate contested the election, securing 115 votes.
The by-elections to the Sakrebulo (municipal representative councils) took place across four municipalities in Georgia: Vani, Tsalka, Dmanisi, and Akhmeta. The voting was conducted under a majoritarian system. According to the CEC, turnout reached 1,136 people, representing 51.6% of the total registered voters.
