Following his departure from politics, former head of the State Security Service of Georgia Mamuka Mdinaradze has established a company called Mdinaradze Consulting Group.
According to Public Registry records, Mamuka Mdinaradze holds a 100 percent stake in the company, with Nino Chanturia serving as its director. The firm’s office is located in a business center near Vera Park.
One of the leaders of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Mamuka Mdinaradze announced his exit from politics on August 27. According to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the decision was prompted by exhaustion and “psychological stress.”
Mdinaradze served as executive secretary of Georgian Dream and, prior to concluding his political career, held the post of Minister of Regional Development. He stepped down after spending less than a month in his final office.
In addition, Mdinaradze did not wait for the establishment of another position created specifically for him: State Minister for Regional Policy, which was scheduled to be introduced in September. A post of State Minister for Law Enforcement Coordination had also been created specifically for Mdinaradze, where he served for less than three months.
In his primary role — head of the State Security Service of Georgia — Mamuka Mdinaradze served for nearly eight months.
