The de facto leader of Tskhinvali, Alan Gagloev, is in Moscow. He met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov reported that Putin discussed cooperation on a wide range of issues and prospects for strengthening bilateral dialogue with Gagloev.
“In continuation of their recent conversation, which took place on May 9 in Moscow, the presidents discussed the current agenda of Russian-South Ossetian interaction and cooperation on the widest range of issues,” Dmitry Peskov noted.
The Kremlin spokesman added that they also discussed “prospects for further expanding bilateral dialogue, including in light of the bilateral agreement that was signed in Moscow in May.”
