Beka Dvali has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Israel. Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the Georgian diplomat has many years of experience working in the central apparatus of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions abroad.
“Since 2022, Beka Dvali has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia. In 2012–2022, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of South Africa.
At various times, he held the positions of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Senior Counselor at the Embassy of Georgia to the United States of America, Deputy Director of the Department of European Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and Head of the UN Division of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary,” the ministry’s statement reads.
