According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, 83 foreign nationals have been expelled from the country in recent days. According to the ministry, the expelled individuals have been banned from entering Georgia.
“Officers of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in coordination with relevant units of the ministry, have expelled 83 foreign nationals from Georgia in recent days.
As a result of comprehensive measures carried out by the Migration Department, citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Russia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, India, Burundi, Pakistan, Kenya, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, Armenia, Uzbekistan, China, and other states—a total of 83 individuals—were expelled from the country.
In accordance with current legislation, an entry ban has been imposed on the expelled individuals.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues its intensive efforts to combat illegal migration in the country. According to recent statistical data, in this year alone, officers of the Migration Department have already expelled more than 3,000 people from the country,” the statement reads.
